Truth is Jo, Sharon, Karen and Tony, it is exactly as was said earlier on this thread. In adversity, our Greek friends will work it out. If it is only the transfer to worry about, I would stop worrying. I very much doubt that as our dave mull and I joked on Smalltalk, it will be by donkey!!!  Stress yes, but it has been like that all year. Most have simply flown in and arrived in Arillas. Be optimistic about it.

Its great news and a big relief - more information here but how much damage has it done to holiday resorts in Greece

"The six-day strike dried petrol stations nationwide, created shortages of fresh products in the market, led to closures of factories, left thousands of tourists stranded in Greek islands and caused cancellations of hundreds of thousands of bookings in tourism destinations across Greece.

The truckers strike also attributed to the smaller number of Greeks who left Athens and other major cities for holidays this weekend, according to local authorities.

You only have to walk up the hill to get your RI if they can't deliver because of a repeat shortage of petrol when you are there.

How lucky is that

Well thank goodness it's all over, good news for all us soon to be holidaymakers and our greek hosts.

lol John. Our Erja wouldn't have to walk anywhere - they'd bring it to her down the hill....

And like everyone else I've breathed a sigh of relief. Nobody should be denied the times we had in Arillas. So glad for all those who were worrying about their upcoming holidays.
