Forum forecast for this week
« on: October 13, 2010, 01:29:39 AM »
Looks like a wet, thundery week. What do you do in Arillas when it's wet and stormy?

In no particular order....
1. Call in Thalassa and help Spiros get his screens in place. Then chat and drink until you're ready to move on.
2. Dash in the Coconut and simply sit and natter to everyone.
3. Dash into the sea with no clothes on and wallow in it all.
4. Watch a film in Malibu.
5. Ditto in the Nut.
6. Sit inside at <almost anywhere> and eat.
7. Go to Yiotas and browse. (leave the old man in the Nut)
8. Get on the forum in Malibu or Helens or...
9...........

I have left out the obvious one - but you don't need a list to do that.....

Post your ideas. Will help everyone.
Phil

Here goes and this is in order:

1. Thalassa for me too and a loooooooooooooong lunch :)

2. The Nut and a comfortable drink or too or three :D

3. Stay home in Brouklis and settle on a table downstairs and watch the rain come down with lashings of Royal Ionian ;)
Life is good ;)

Wake up to the rain..quick dash to the shop to buy some fresh bread, back to the room
coffee, bread and Jam and glass of metaxa whilst sat on balcony watching the rain.
Some more Metaxa with coke this time and a few pages of a book...
Jump on the quad and a spin up to the Rainbow bit wet but another Metaxa or will that be an ouzo and lemonade??
Pop in to the Malibu
then back to the Horizon...a few greek coffee's and of course Metaxa
Know its time for breakfast!! so off to see George at the creperie the full english the works all washed down with a nice cold Mythos an hour on the computer..
Now off to the kaloudis and some more supplies at Rules...metaxa running low
Then back the Nut for afternoon matinee....more ouzo and lemonade
time for a snooze..zzz
Thalassa for supper or maybe Brouklis decision's decision's
Nightcap at Horizon then off to bed...

Or...................

Morning coffee, with good pals, on the balcony this morning.
Followed by a very nice Ouzo whilst planning what I cannot do because it's due to rain at any point in time now. 22 deg outside aint that bad though!

So.............. Night Owl beckons me by 1pm, for a game or two, with Nickos.
And..... I jut have to see if the lads in Armourada are well.
( Armourada is close to the Nut - Donchyerknow? - Will I have the time? ..........
.........Because..... I just have to get the Rainbow to check on the boys as well !!.

So much responsibility for a man of my age!
Maybe catch up avrio. Not nuff hours int day.

Wegg, after some Lemon Curd making and much chilling will settle down this afternoon and eagerly await my return. - WOTSALLTHATABOUT?

Cheers
Negg

Hi folks
you all make me laugh with your rainy day plans! I'm returning to Arillas on 25th of this month and haven't been in October. Might be a daft question, but how likely is rain? Am wondering what clothes to pack. ( Although, if we're sat in cocunut et al  for most of the day, it won't really matter! lol)
Thanks Nicola
