GALINI HOTEL.SOME EXPLANATIONS
« on: July 22, 2005, 01:56:45 AM »
Hello everyone,

I am George Mylonas the Galini website and contact manager.
I would like to give some explanations to all our friends.
Galini broke up the contract with Manos this year with all the legal rights.
In April just one month before the start of the season Manos contacted Galini and announced a reduction of 20% at the already low rates.
Manos said that that was ultimatum and there won't be any negotiation,so the Galini owners used their right to terminate the contract reacting to monopolio of the travel agencies. Now i would like to inform you that Galini cooperates with Thomas Cook but you can also make reservation through the brand new Galini Website

http://www.galini-hotel.com

There , you can have information about everything.Temporary the website is in Greek, but in the end of July there will be the English Version too.

You can also ask anything at

info@galini-hotel.com

or

fenos@galini-hotel.com

which is my personal email.

Thank you for patience your understanding.
We all waiting for you at Galini to have a great summer.

Hello George,

It is good that the Galini has stood up to the bully boy 'take it or leave it' tactics of the Tour Operator.  I can guess that the savings the T.Operator would have made if you had continued with the contract would not have been passed onto the customer, in fact a price hike to the customer would be more than likely.

I have looked at your website and enjoyed the photos in your gallery.  As your rates look very reasonable, we will certainly consider booking with you if we return in September.

Good luck.

Eileen

For anyone who cannot wait until the English edition of the Galini website is ready you can view it like thus:

Type in your browser http://world.altavista.com/  scroll down to 'translate a web page' and type in the box www.galini-hotel.com

Next go down to the box 'Select from and to language' and choose 'Greek to English' hit the translate button and 'hey presto!

Have fun trying to guess the words that are wrongly translated, but at least we can read it now. :D
