I think Mike / Elena is just starting to "find" his way around the Forum and did not see that this was an "Old Oct 2011" posting. His posts only started from mid Feb, I think, and he signed one from FAIRFIELD CA. I am sure he will explain and it is a good opportunity to re-generate this post.

The start of the week, here, was 2 very nice "sit outside" days but we paid for it Wed/Thu and with the heavy winds yesterday suffered an agonising 14 hour plus power cut. A few showers this morning but fingers crossed it will brighten up. There is so much water on the roads it is difficult to negotiate the many new potholes that are appearing. Wegg records rainfall etc and it has been the wettest FEB for 7 years. (296mm) Currently on 42mm so far in March and most of that appeared in the last couple of days. (No wonder that hard top is back on Mike's vehicle !!)

Cheers
Negg

Hope the weather improves for you in the next few days, we too have numerous potholes along our road. A little truck came along and put two shovels full of warm asphalt in the worse ones.....then a car came along and squeezed it all out again. Complete waste of public funds. Still the same potholes.

Keep thinking it won't be long to Arillas.....then I remember we are not going in May and will have to wait until the end of July. Thankfully the weather will be good.

Sorry you are both going through another very bad spell...stay dry and have plenty of candles to hand.
Also make sure the shed is securely fastened down, hope tomorrow is better.

See in July Val and Bill x

Weather seems a bit strange, what with wettest Feb for years and still continuing. Hope it improves for you soon Eggy.

Val, hope to see you for a natter  late July - we're there till 31st.

Phil

Well guys,

11:38 here and I have just got home with the rain still reminding me that nature is what it is and we can do nothing to change it.

It rained yesterday all day, or so my son told me but it seems to be set fair for the next week to 10 days touching 17 degrees apparently - tee shirt weather? Let's hope so.

Yesterday and some overnight rain gave us 40mm in the rain gauge. Dry , so far, this morning.
