Villa Ioanna
« on: April 06, 2011, 09:16:00 PM »
Has anybody stayed there? we just spotted it on the new website and were surprised by it's location as we've walked down the road a thousand times and never seen it. I'd be interested in any reviews.

I'm not sure it's available to rent anymore, it's been up for sale for quite a while now.

Note - it's also known as Villa Joanna

I found this link but it looks as if it may not have been updated since 2007

John.... look on villas with pools, there is contact numbers and e-mail address there. Looks like the villa is down the path opposite Brouklis.

I emailed them a couple of days back, not heard anything yet. We like the location, for my inlaws but currently can't decide between one of the private places on the outer edge of the village (up hill) or the simpson villas (panorama/paradiso).

Ask Dimitris if he can help you make contact, he will help if he can.

The villa would be ideal for your in-laws as it's just a flat walk to the beach, and I guess it would be less expensive than the Simpsons villas, though it is quite big with it having the separate annex, I would love it for my family.

Val, I've had a response and they only want 300 euro per night! Simpson's villas are looking cheap, and the hill's to the other villas are looking tiny now!

It could be, I've mailed them back alerting them to the price of the simpson villas.

To be fair, 300 euros a night might sound expensive but if you look at the prices of some other villas so close to a beach ( - particularly  on the east coast), 2100 euros a week is not unreasonable.

...... infact, didn't you say elsewhere that Simpsons had quoted 4500 euros for a fortnight? That would make this one cheaper at 4200 euros , wouldn't it - or am I missing something here?

As far as I know Simpson's prices include flights and car hire,

Anne, I didn't notice your first post. It's not as close as the simpson villas to the sea, and it's not on the east coast so to me 2100 euro per week is daft. However the owner has come back to me and says the price is the same for up to 10 people, so for a larger party it would be great value.
We are staying at nissaki this summer not far from the beach, 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, pool and gardens etc, £1800 for two weeks including flights and car (would be £2800 for four).
I've booked privately for a decade, but earning less now than I was two years ago and have a pay freeze for the next 3 years as do many others, so if a tour operator works out significantly cheaper, I'll book with them.
