Music at the Horizon
« on: August 13, 2005, 03:48:00 PM »
For those of you who enjoy live music, Sunday night at the Horizon is a MUST.  Not sure whether they will be continuing after the end of August, but it's worth strolling past to see if the board is up outside the hotel.

The music starts at 9pm and, if you want to eat as well, you will definitely need to book a table.  The duo comprises a guitarist/vocalist and a bazooki/bass guitarist/vocalist.  They play Greek music and also what they call "English" music - Clapton, blues, Eagles etc.  A fabulous mixture.

The night we were there, they were also joined by a great guitarist called Charlie and a friend of his who played the harmonica - both on holiday in Arillas with the necessary instruments!

yes Fiona fantastic music and a really lovely atmosphere! Went twice to see them. Think that one of the duet is German.
