Greek ATCs going on strike?

Just read on another forum a thread written by someone who lives on Rhodes that the ATC are having a meeting on 15th September about a 48 hour strike on 17th and 18th.
Really hope this doesn't happen as we fly to Thassos at 0800 on the 18th.

Hello everyone - I'm a rather shy arillas addict, usually too shy to post although I love the forum and read it avidly every day.

Oh dear, looks like my 5th holiday in this great place, after a horrible year with redundancy and bereavement is going to start with a strike and then I fly into thunderstorms!

Strange thing is, I don't care, nothing will take the shine off a whole week in the one place I really relax and am guaranteed a perfect holiday.........

Welcome back to the forum Lizzie, so sorry you have had a horrible year, but as you already know Arillas will help you to put all your troubles into perspective and relax you.
Don't worry the weather will be ok and even the threat of a strike may not happen.
