Activity on the beach

Hi folks just looked on the w e b c a m and there seems to be a lot of people on the beach ,anyone know what they are upto ?

So there is, Tony - no idea what they're doing - perhaps something to do with the whale? 

Whatever, it looks a tad on the cold side!  Although it'll be a lot warmer than it is here....4 degrees and falling.  Heavy rain too!    We'd intended going into town today to see the Huddersfield Festival of Light but have decided against it, due to the shocking weather.
