Soft and Fresh dry oil spray seem to work for me, it's on offer with Avon brochure 7 £2.50
It has a greeny blue logo. It was originally just green.

Truth....drinking ouzo only works 'after' I have used soft and fresh.
The love affair continues.

there have been many many remedies for mosquitos on this forum... we usually take lots of Vit B tablet before and on holiday and marmite everyday in some form... toast etc.  citronella candles and incense sticks outside and usual "bug off" stuff..  different things suit different people... the only way to completely keep them away is a wet suit!

Just been in Morrisons and they are selling Jungle formula maximum strength pump spray for £3.49 so bought a couple, not sure if it's just our local branch selling at that price but money well spent
Used it last year with Zero bites :-)

Crafty little biters, these winged felons.

However it's too hot even for them , at the moment, so they are hitching a ride on your clothing and once back, in your appt/room , hide away in the shade and wait for the cooling down period. Then, it's all systems go and over-time claims submitted and they will nibble at your legs considerably more that the Italians when they play England tonight.
A tip for men wearing long socks is - Spray repelant over them before you venture out tonight.
Some mozzies are armed with mini pneumatic drills - DONCHYERKOW?
They go through yer socks before Brouklis can say "All the lambs finshed!"
A tip for ladies wearing long socks is : - Do not ! - Very unnatractive with a skirt and trainers!
And..............................
Spray yer room afore you sleep. Even use some mozz repellant for this and, if  no mozzie screen? - Then spray the curtains a tad.
How times change. In the 2nd World war my mother kept her ears open for the buzz of a V1 rocket!. Now we keep our ears open for the buzz of something considerably smaller.
Cheers
Negg

Neill m8, what a perfect post. We are the mozzies worst enemies, armed with DEET and cover-up clothes.

But have never thought about them sleeping in your clothes and then eating you when it cools down a bit. Thanks for that thought.  Will probably reduce Jen's bies to zero.

Moi? The little buggers know better than to touch me. Clearly not interested in Arilliac alcoholics..........

Phil

They got me first night - but I shall leave that tale until I write the annual script....... but Ive 3 lovely scabs on foot to remind me, I wonder if a novel of "mosquito bites that I have experienced" would be a best seller??

We always spray the room with fly spray before we go out in the evenings

Not sure how big the little critters are, but you never seem to see one on anybody else.
