Eventually got round to trying stitch
« on: May 03, 2012, 01:48:13 AM »
Trying to get into the holiday mood with the stitch effect on my camera taken of the view from the Dionysos Restaurant of the St Georges bay back in 2010.

Stitch means needle, cotton and matriarchs to me Gaz. But the pic of St George is perfect.

That is a lovely photo.

Was lucky enough to see it at night time and it is magical with the lights around the bay and the stars twinkling in the heavens.

Thanks

Of course you were there silly  :-) I was just trying to preserve your anonimity! A word which I believe is derived from Greek meaning nameless.

It was a beautiful evening and the best company.....

It was only marred by the fact that I was eaten alive by mossies.

I wasn't in my regulation night time garb of trousers and socks because we had gone from a very long lunch straight though to a relaxed and "happy" dinner!

Good times my dear friend. Thinking of you next week

Thanks Geoff, unfortunately the original pic is far too large for the site around 15mb from what i can remember so obviously far more detail when shown full size :-)

I still say that Dionysos is the best view in the universe.  Really provided the WOW factor when we took our friends and family there in 2009 for our blessing.. dont believe me?...
