the web-cam is pointing straight to gravia today and a beautifull sight it is ,,the sun is out and the waves are crashing onto shore ,,,yammass

I was thinking that also Terry i dont recall the handrails and am sure the other bridge was flat and not arched :-)

Here are some photos I took on the day the new bridge was being installed (Friday 18th May).  Sorry I've taken so long to post these - it's taken me a while to work out how to add pictures!

As you will see, the footway had not been added.  I wonder if that has happened yet?






I'll be adding some more posts soon about our lovely stay in Arillas recently which was fantastic.

I hope I never walk over it with water streaming under it, well not in July. I wonder if this is another benefit coming from the Arillas Council?

A lovely post Chris and Richard. And so glad you feel the same as we do about Arillas. It is a little haven between two other glorious places - Agios Georgios and San Stefanos - but it is more special. Most of the visitors find it once and just keep coming back. Jen and I are amongst them.

Just returned from Arillas today (sadly), the new bridge was a suprise and is in the same completed state as the pictures above show, minus the JCB of course.

The bridge is bolted down to the concrete.
