After reading about FairFX on hear I tried them. Ordered yesterday at 2.30pm and they arrived at 8.25am this morning. Whoopi another step closer to paradise. Thank you all. Mary x

I always use TRAVELFX  not travelEX and always get a great rate with free next day delivery and no commission.  Today they are offering 1:2323.    You only pay after the deal is set up and you pay directly into their bank account details money sent the day you arder and you will receive Euros the day after your payment is received. Very easy to deal with.

It's gone down a tad. Around e1.24 yesterday.

Three weeks time and it could be different. I'm waiting for e1.29

We're in the same predicament Gill, will be out 3 weeks this coming Friday, was going to bite the bullet and order euros early part of last week, but decided to wait - hoping the rate will go back up again.

Yeah we have been watching....and waiting... But like you we can wait another 10 days or so.
Always interesting to see what it is out there though and Negg comes through for me every year when I ask!!
I do think we may be waiting some time for 1.29 tho...

Just a reminder to every one that are referring to the rates available in resort, although people are quoting say 1.22 in Arillas the reality is that you will only receive something like 1.19 after the two percent commission charge.  Whereas with the likes of TravelFX the rate is the rate you receive as there is no commission charge.

I can't seem to find anything better than 1.24. Still it's better than it was a couple of years ago!

Different company Neill, no commission with TRAVELFX although small amounts do get charged.
I have found ICE and FAIRFX along withTRAVELFX the best rates on offer. All with next day delivery.
