Koroibos The Taste of Arillas
« on: July 15, 2012, 03:41:36 PM »
Bill has just phoned me from Wetherspoons....he has had his first pint of Koroibos Olympic beer.

Taste Notes= Citrus fruit but sweet tasting and very refreshing lager, that has a bright gold colour with the sunshine of Arillas coming through it.

The manager told him it had been put on last night and was very popular up to now.
So I can see a few more visits there for Bill before we travel on Friday.
He will be panicking in case it's all gone before we come back!

This is all good for Arillas because the house magazine has a very good article about the Arillas brewery. Hope people like the beer and then want to visit the place were it all began.

The love affair continues.

Just a thought...... I wonder if Koroibos will ever be sold in bottles in Arillas.

I think I will have to check on Wetherspoons near by to see if they have some. Thanks for the info Val.

Wetherspoons often launch new beers from far afield countries, the down side is that they are rarely seen again on their fonts.
The upside is that the brand gets some exposure and if even only 1 in 400 who buys a pint, is intrigued by the brew comes to Arillas to visit the Brewery that's another 1 or 2 that will be intoxicated by the sheer beauty and ambiance of the place.... from little acorns..........

Ang meluvver, we are planting as many acorns as we can. The premature Koroibos is justperfect for me Val dearest. But I will have to come back there to sample it.

Really sorry but the Mythos and prawns in Graziella tonight just blew the whole ship out of the water. Another fantastic Arillas meal tonight.

Phil

We tasted Koroibos at the Brewery when we were in Arillas in May - really lovely (it's cask number 4!)

Really looking forward to having a taste of Arillas here in rainy Lincolnshire soon!
