Walkies.
« on: December 01, 2012, 11:38:15 AM »
Have just got a book called Walks in North West Corfu. It is a guide for wlkers in Arillas, Agios Stefanos, Agios Georgios area and North West Corfu. Also has A5 maps in it, taking a qick guess I would say longest walk is about 12 km. Got  it from Amozan and would recommend it for all that like walking. Viv

I have had that book and its predecessor written by Lance Chilton for several years and find it excellent. The superb separate maps show every little track and footpath, even the 'dead-enders'.

Thanks Viv, have just ordered it on Amazon. Nice addition to Dave's Christmas stocking.

Im sure he will enjoy reading it, and when you are following the walks in real life that he will be over the moon with it. Viv x

I purchased the Lance Chilton book of walks several years ago and have made use of it every time I return to Arrilas.
The longest walk that my friends and I have done so far is to the castle at Angelocastro which is about 30k round trip.
Not too bad for a bunch of 50 and 60 year olds.
