Local Historian?
« on: June 10, 2013, 06:12:42 PM »
Sooo looking forward to returning to Arillas next month, I can almost taste the Mythos and hear the Ionion crashing on that golden shore!

I would like to get a more in depth history of Arillas and Corfu in general while I am there. Is there any one in Arillas who would be a good contact to help with a 'to be published' project?

Well, back to staring at the web cam and reading the boards, clock watching etc.

Many thanks for looking.
Nick

My opinion? - It may pay to have a chat with Takis ( Big Tash ) at Armourada.
You may need a interpreter but he , to me , is a mine of information.

Ask about the "Old Shipwreck" relics they have displayed in the bar.

Thank you, I will look out for him! Don't think I have been to Armourada either.
