We have just booked to stay at the Kaloudis Village next August 2014.We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys who will be 16 & 15. I am hoping that the Kaloudis Village and Arillas we be a suitable location.
We like to be on the beach in a resort that is small enough to perhaps give the boys a little freedom and has a choice of greek restaurants and bars. Ideally the bars would have a pool table to keep the boys amused. We would hate to be anywhere like Sidari or Kavos.
Previously we have stayed in Alykanas in Zante and Pefkos in Rhodes so I am hoping that Arillas is similar to those resorts. We was planning on going to Pefkos next year and had actually booked it, but Thomas Cook have pulled out of the accommodation and was unable to offer a suitable alternative. So we cancelled and have now decided to try somewhere new :))
Any advice, have we done the right thing?
We too are going to Kaloudis this summer with a couple of teenagers (14 and 16), having previously been to Pefkos and Alykanas!

Oh, and we also arrive on August 1st. Small world!

Tim
That's perfect, look forward to seeing you all there.
We stayed in Alykanas last year at the Alykanas beach and loved it. Had originally booked pefkos for this year but Thomas cook pulled the hotel and we wasnt impressed with the alternative offered as it seemed at bit far from the beach and the price had increased. So then discovered arillas and it sounded perfect so counting down the days 163 to go, just need to get the gcse's done first.

It's good to know there will be other teens around the pool .
