Blue lights on the webcam
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:10:27 PM »
Such a shame that I can only see those awful blue lights on the web cam. Yuk spoils it completely for me.

Like a pork chop in a synagogue, it stands alone, hated and reviled. Please switch it off for good.

Can honestly say I was not concerned by the blue lights, much better than some of the unsightly signs that lie dotted about.

I asume that these are the Ammos signs that are being refereed to. Haven't seen them on the webcam yet and was very surprised when I walked alone there on saturday. The beds on the beach look very comfy under the tree umbrellas but it did seem a strange thing to find in Arillas, guess I will get see to it aslong as its not a trend that is going to spread alone the beach. When we get back to blight will see what it loks like on the webcam. Viv x

Not sure when the sign went up, but was there and shining brightly in August, and personally, I dont like it.. I dont like the feel with the four poster and padded beds either, its sort of brings a class thing to the beach, maybe me, but all beds should be the same.

To me the atmosphere in Arillas is a very delicate blend of ingrediants day or night, and these things just dont fit.

Just my thoughts....

I liked the light when I was there, thought it looked classy, like Ammos itself. But if the whole of the seafront was lit up for each restaurant I'm not too sure I'd feel the same.

And also those spongy covers for the sunbeds owned by Ammos - we normally go for a dip and then lie on the sunbed til we dry off before lunch.  Don't the sponge covers get all wet or do the people sunbathing on them just sunbathe?  We couldn't work it out!!!

I really like ammos, but sticking a luminous sign on the edge of beach isn't adding to the beauty of Arillas. In fact it's crass and vulgar and is more appropriate to Las Vagas than Arillas.

Come on Ammos take it down!!!!
