Hi ness44 are you using the coach to be transferred to Matharaki?
We are and if so may be on same coach.
Was going to pay extra for the taxi but thomsons said it was not that much quicker.
Seen mixed comments on the transfer times. How long did it take when u went?

40 minuets by taxi so don't believe Thomsons. We went with the coach a couple of years ago and it took almost 2 hours.
Book local taxi if that's what you decide, Thomson charge much more
We use Corfu taxis they change 50 euros each way.

Hi, Diana

I got a taxi last year (to Makris) it took just under 50 minutes late evening. There was still quite a bit of traffic about for that time of night. Then i went back to airport by coach about 6pm. That only took an hour & 45 mins. I don't mind coach when it's through the day because you can take in all the lovely views, in a taxi you just whiz past them! haha

Rachel x

We took the coach this time, first stop to drop off a couple for the minibus to St George, then home to Arillas.....45-50 mins total.

Lol John......quite the opposite, we were last on....to the disapproving stares from all the other passengers. I wanted to shout "no we haven't been for a smoke"

We waited over half an hour for our cases, the carousel was empty. The next flight started to come off and then after about five minutes our cases magically appeared. The rep then told us the wrong coach number so that didn't help either.

I think the driver then got us home to Arillas in quick time to avoid the lunch time traffic in Corfu town on his way back to the airport.

Take a taxi folks you won't regret it :)

I'm glad to hear your transfer was good when you eventually got going. My concern is that we'll be the first on the bus waiting ages for other planes to arrive as we're leaving Bristol at 5AM and I haven't seen any other flights as early. If we do have to wait ages I would be interested in a taxi but there's 4 of us and don't know if taxi would be able to take 4 people and 4 cases or if not how much a Mimi bus would be

Minibus is usually around 85/90 euro which would work out cheaper than two taxi's plus there is the chance that if they are more passengers they may knock a bit more off.

WOW Val n Bill was the coach half empty? who did they drop off first, at what place?
If it is only hour an half, don't mind coz nice to see some of the places they stop at.
Thomsons quote 2 hours plus, but is that just a guide line, or could it be 3 hours!
I presume u used Thomsons.
