Some like it hot..... I sure do. Probably in the forties when we arrive in July. Have spent far too many months in layers of clothes trying to keep the cold out. Now I have 3 glorious weeks to look forward to when even I will be too hot. And you wonder why I drink so much ice-cold Mythos?

Bring it ON!!!

Lol! Couldn't agree more.
Do you have any news on the cliff top walk as my sister and hubby will be there from July 18th and enjoyed it so much last year, therefore want to venture up there again this year (they too have caught the Arillas bug!)

Reliably informed by Dimitris himself and ValnBill, both on forum posts, that a safe walk is now available a little inland from the eroding one. So glad because I know how important it is to so many who come to Arillas. Moi? Mythos please..... I can get all I want in Arillas itself, weeks at a stretch, and never leave its hallowed boundaries.... Sad? Nah. True? Yeah!!

We went a couple of years ago in August and the weather was SPOT ON !  Lovely and warm but it wasn't an "oppressive" heat at all and we didn't need aircon at night either which surprised me. Thats always a bonus , saves a few euros !
We will be in Rhodes this year August and it will be DAMN hot there being so much further South than Corfu.

I've always gone away July or August because i love the heat - never used aircon either. It's warm on an evening but I've never found it hot enough to want aircon.. would rather spend my pennies on other things :-)

If it gets too hot during the day, you can just jump in the pool/sea :D

I did a day trip to Bodrum a few years ago - boy was that roasting!! No breeze or anything just pure heat. If I'd have been staying there, I possibly might have had to have aircon just to breath lol

I think we have only vere had it twice. I am SURE we will need it in Rhodes in August , especially with the youngest only being 18 months old. I fairness negotiated it in with the price of the room so happy days :-)
