Hi

If your standing at the beach head up the main road past Coconut Bar, past Bouklis and it is on the left hand side next to a mini market.  Lovely swimming pool.

We returned from our 2nd holiday at the Marvel recently.   The hotel had received a fresh lick of paint over the winter (they had worked hard) and is spotlessly clean.  When we were there, air-conditioning was a must, I don't think it dropped below 29 degrees!  Well worth the 5 euros per day.

Arillas is a wonderful resort, a great beach, fantastic tavernas and 2 lovely bars.  We particularly enjoyed every meal we had at Kostas on the Beach (especially the chocolate mousse!) and Costas at the Marvel kindly ordered in 2 lobsters and some huge prawns for us.   Beautifully cooked by his mum - a memorable evening!  Also, Perry (great cocktails - good luck with the baby), Kostas (thanks for humouring me with my record requests) and Hannah (charming) at the Coconut Bar are well worth a visit or two!

For hire cars, we got a good deal at Arillas Travel.  The island is definitely worth exploring.

We will definitely be returning as it is such a friendly place.  Can't fault it at all...just wish we could be going back there sooner.

Can anyone tell me, does the Marvel, (1) have a fridge in the room, (2) a hairdryer, (3) a kettle?

(1) is for my beer and (2),(3) are for the Laydeeeez on holiday.

Regards

Rooms at the Marvel Hotel do have a small fridge - perfect for beers, water etc and they also have a hairdryer attached to the wall of the bathroom (have to say I didn't use it, as I took my own).  There is no kettle though, we took one with us last year but this year we didn't bother.  Don't forget, breakfast of bread rolls, jam and tea/coffee plus juice is included so you can always get a nice cup of something hot in the morning.  Would highly recommend their Full English Breakfast too!

Have a fantastic time!

Just for a change Captains is opposite and do great english breakfast for 4.50 euros.  The fried bread is the best I have ever had and I dont usually eat it!  Mike and Angela the waitress are always there.
