Airport Taxis can generally be a higher price as you would not believe the insurance and taxes they have to pay. Not wishing to take business away from them,.... but local taxis are very good at a more reasonable price and very reliable.

Hi all. I usually book my taxi through Dorita at The Bardis Hotel. Last May it was €54 each way. Just had a quote from Holidaytaxis.com for September, return in mini bus transfer £33. A lot cheaper. As far as I can make out it 'favors' single travelers as  you get an 'automatic' taxi share. The only down side to the arrangement I can see is the travel time, quoted as 90 minutes(approx) which means you must do a 'tour' of the island like the Thomson/T.C. coach. Swings and roundabouts!
Will stick to the taxi, support local business, and hope I get a taxi share on 26th!
