Hi,
We are thinking of booking independent this year and wondered if anyone has flown Ryanair from Leeds Bradford? Any hints or tips would be welcome
Thanks

Hi and happy new year,

My wife and I flew Ryanair for the first time last year from Edinburgh, no problems at all about the same service provided as Jet 2 and Thomas Cook (flight only) but slightly better than Easy jet.

Flying Ryanair again this year in June again from Edinburgh, whatever you do its all ways going to be a case of ya pays ya money and takes ya chance. I would suggest that you pre-book your seats this saves the worry of being separated on the aircraft.

We have done independent for a number of years (apart from a couple of specialist holidays) and have never been disappointed, we all ways treat it as an adventure with no great expectations therefore no great disappointments.

One is for sure and that is Arillas never disappoints.

You can take endless tips from numerous people but until you take the plunge you will never find out.

Whatever you choose we hope you enjoy your experience and your holiday

Hi

We have flown with most independent operators and Ryanair are much the same as the others.... the main thing to be aware of, and the best bit of advice is...make sure you know all the rules and conditions of your booking and any potential penalties...i.e. make sure you know when and how to check in on line and remember to pre print and take with you your boarding passes/know exactly what the luggage requirements are and don't exceed them/ensure you are very very careful when you fill your personal details in on line...mistakes can  be costly to rectify. Always check and double check your on line booking...Ryanair have a few drop down menus (insurance option for example) that you may inadvertently purchase unless you specifically opt out. It may at first seem a bit daunting but as long as you are careful  with your inputting every thing should be fine...go on their internet site and do a few dummy bookings to get the hang of things.

There are a lot of benefits to booking independent flights as long as you know the rules.

Good luck
