whats happening with the rate? Luckily changed mine last week at 1.38 at Thomas Cook.  Changed some yesterday for my daughter (not for Arillas) and the rate was about 1.2.  Big drop.  Maybe because the Euro has better prospects since the Greek agreeement? Happy to say we'll be spending them in a week. Yippee x

FAIRFX sits on e1.37 today so , yes an offer of e1.20 sounds a tad on the strange side.
e1.40 was on offer , here, yesterday.

1.38 in Tenerife. Tempted to get a load for when we are back in October as I think it could carry on slowly dropping for a while ...

Have I been "done""?  Got 245 euros for £200.82.  Thomas Cook shop in Alnwick.   Can't check it as it's on it's way to Lindsay.  I feel bad as it was for her not me.  Damn!

By the way I did query it and the assistant said it had gone down gradually all week then plummeted on Wednesday. Never mind.

Big "Buggers" for you Momo.

I reckon that is around e1.22 but I have not got a calculator to hand. (probably around a e25 loss at current exchange)
Hope I am wrong.

I should have shopped around.  They're usually good compared to bank etc. Maybe I'll send Linz a few more to make it up to her. No worries.
