There will be a new Pharmacy in Arillas on the site of Yiota's Silver Moon shop who is moving further up. Good news as I think it will be a great asset.  Lets hope that it lasts longer than the last one!

Great news, we have never needed the pharmacy (yet) but it's certainly an asset to have with there being no public transport in the village.

Morning, Theo said last year that The Steki next to him would be re-opening this year.  Any news on that please?

Possibly the bearer of "not so good" news here but I think the Pharmacy may not be going ahead for the Summer.

Any more updates as to what will be open & new this year?  Not long now!! Was hoping the Steki would be open, as we have missed it

Green Corfu have opened an office opposite Brouklis. Yiota still has the Silver moon shop but it is now a children's clothes shop. I heard that the Pharmacy have not got a licence, so looks like that will not be happening. I went to get some cash from the ATM today, but it is 'Out of service'. Vas at the Marina said his new ATM was supposed to be installed this week, but it has been delayed until next week.
George at Malibu has been very busy this winter and is opening a grill place, next week I think, it looks very good.
There are not very many tourists around, 12 people at Kaloudis, a few at Rainbow and Marvel. The only restaurants open are Beach Point, Kostas on the beach, Armourada, Brouklis and Rainbow. There may be others but I never got further than Sharons. Mirage are opening Thursday, Portofino hasn't decided when he will open yet. It all seems a bit slow to get going this year. The good news is, after a wet start to the day the sun shone beautifully and Poppy had her first swim in the sea. We have one very happy doggy.

Thank you for the update Anne, so lovely to hear the Arillas news... makes me wish I was there now! Still, only 61 days to go until our first visit of 2016.

 Great information Anne for your first post of 2016 Anne, thank you. Surprised that there are so few people though....think it may have to do with the awful weather all over Europe this year.

Glad Poppy enjoyed her swim.....look forward to the news of your first swim Lol.
Hope Arillas has woken up in ten days time when we arrive.
The weather here is "supposed" to improve for us in the northwest by tomorrow although we have seen the sun today but Bill and I are not holding our breath for any temps that allow us to sit outdoors.

Thanks for the updates Anne, its nice to start picture Arillas coming alive.  Do you know if the Captains will open this year? We spoke to Valadis last year and he said it might open. Some nice pictures of the mirage on FB.  Not long now!!
