Thomson Pre booked seats
« on: April 05, 2016, 08:07:49 PM »
We have pre booked our seats for years and today ou flight was open on line to select our 2 seats for 20th June flight.
Very difficult this year because Thomson seem to have allocated seats in blocks of 3, which has a Child symbol in each row.
Apart from row 17.
So I rang them and complained that it was just not worth the extra cost to pre book.
Guess what , they changed to row 7. Trying first to sell me extra leg room.

Dave....... we have always been told that the child symbol only means that the seat is suitable for a child for example nearer the toilets or an end seat which is more suitable for feeding a baby. We have never had any trouble pre-booking these seats. The symbol is only used as a guide. In fact if you have a child travelling with you airlines prefer you to sit them between two adults. Just go ahead and book them.
We have always just chosen the seats we want.

The love affair continues.

Yes I thought that, but when you select that particular seat with the symbol it actual tells you that you cannot book that seat and redirects you to start again.
Problem resolved I rang them and they changed them.
