Has anyone else been on 'Papas' boat to Erikoussa. It's a working boat that takes mail/ people etc out to this offshore Island, and leaves from Aghios Stephanos. Dimitri suggested it the last time we were in Arillas.
He even drove us over to the harbour Erikoussa is so peaceful, with a long sandy stretch of beach, and a lovely little taverna. We hardly saw another soul the day we went....if you want to see what Arillas was like 20 years ago go to Erikoussa!

Yeah I have spent the day there before.I agree it is lovely.a family friends husband is currantely building a couple of houses there. So we popped over to see him and spent ages in the sea. 8)

the boat trip to Erikkousa was not running the day we went and we went to Mathraki,like you we hadly saw anyone and Mathraki was very peaceful
