As I won't be going to Lisbon until November this year I have treated myself to a solo spring break in Arillas the last week of May. How excellent is that! 8)
It also it gives me a chance to stay in The Marvel Hotel as next year I hit the big 50 at the end of August and I will bring bunch of my Ladyeeeez with me to Arillas.
So a spot of market research is required as my home the Brouklis Rooms won't be able to accommodate all of us so I need a nearby option with a all mods con to which end the Marvel seems to be perfect option with the proximity and facilities.
And not many people know that my second name is Elena so I will be joining the party to celebrate with all the Kostas's & Eleni's on the late night of Saturday 21st May ;)
So if you are around that last week in May please say hello and hope to see some of you there :)

Great news, Erja. Pleased for you. It`s been to long since we met. Sadly, our dates don` t match for this year. We`ve got a week in September (12) to look forward to as well as June/July.

Erja...celebrating your 50th birthday in Arillas, what could be better? Lucky you! Wish I could be there. Although we've never met I'm sure I spotted you last August at Sharon's pool bar. I recognised your tatoo!

I'm not jealous just green with envy!! I'm sure it will be great at the end of May and planning for the big 50 at the same time, how good is that? We'll miss you, I think, this year as we don't arrive until 2nd September but maybe we'll gate crash the celebrations next year!
Paul D - we may get to meet you and Heather this year - at last.

We are usually there towards the end of May but we aren't there until August this year . Would have been nice to meet you and also to see The Ref for the first time in years ! :-(

I have gone blank on the actual dates (NO I haven't had a drink either! Lol) but I think its the 7th-18th. I probably put the dates on this thread somewhere when I booked it about 5 months ago.....

Erja....after watching your fabulous video with Heidi, it was definitely you that I spotted at Sharon's pool bar. I would love to come and say hi to you both along with my husband but we we'll be there during July this year but maybe another time?

Just booked at the Mathraki for 23-20 May for a week, back again 13th June for two weeks. Now looking for a cheapie for Sept-Oct.
We have been back from Tenerife for a week and Holidayisis has hit already, but what I really believe is that we have just got the hang of retirement after four years and learned what to do with the time. After all you can't take money in your coffin. Lol
See you there in May Eggy, Erja, John and Dot, Anne and Phil and all the rest of you early travellers.

Some good prices on offer at the moment with Thomas Cook who are offering the Rainbow at £185.00 for 2 weeks from 9th May
from Birmimgham.
£191 from Gatwick 6th May.
£171 From Manchester 5th May.
Cant get a flight at those prices.
Love early May with warm days, nice walks, the spring flowers, fireflies and the village waking for the summer.
