Title: It's looking very dark on the webcam?
Post by: suzy61 on August 03, 2015, 06:32:52 PM
Is it just my laptop, as it's looking a lot darker than usual on the webcam? I usually have a quick peek most days and for ages now it's just been a magnificent colour of blue...blue sky and blue sea. Is there a thunderstorm going on perhaps...?

No storms Suzy but clouds developed last night.... This morning it's the same but so very hot and no breeze, I think "muggy" is a good description for the weather today.

Just seen the 'deluge' on FB - the Island knows I'm coming - happens every single visit!  Hopefully, will have all cleared away soon.

Wasn't sure if the nights were drawing in on the web cam picture,  as the last time we visited the Greek islands during  August was about 10 years ago in Rhodes and I can't remember what time it got dark! We'll be there on August 10 so was just wondering if anyone could tell me roughly what time it gets dark in Arillas?

DANGER John - you sound like me.

"It never gets Dark in Arillas

At least we agree completely. For us that is how it is. Faults and all, we have amazingly good times there. I so wish I could say "here." For us all it is never a dark mood in Arillas. For us lot it never gets "dark" on holiday in Arillas. Only friends and joy.

The webcam is one way to enjoy our place, but there is only one true way - being  (t)here.

Luckily yesterday's deluge didn't last too long and Bill and I had excellent company(Eggy) but the power cuts which also affected the water supply to parts off the village lasted a few hours. All was restored before shower time though and everyone went out to dinner clean 😀😀

Looks like a very cloudy day today. Still, would rather be there than here.

A tad of rain , at 3:30 pm , and more expected. Bad weather , tomorrow is on the cards. Still a nice 25deg though.
