Title: commission on travellers cheques

I am bringing cash and travellers cheques when we arrive this friday.
since buying the cheques i have heard that in spain and italy the commission charges are horrendous
does anyone know what the commission rate is in arillas

We always use Travellers Cheques since the ATM was taken away, and even now after it is back. There are many places to change them in Arillas, and we have always been charged the proper rate - the standard 2%. The cost per transaction is definitely less than our bank charge on an ATM withdrawal, and the exchange rate is usually better.

thanks Justphil I had heard that in Spain and Italy the rates are as high as 20%.

there are many places in arillas to change the main ones ,being olga,s,,,,arillas car hire ,,arillas travel oppsite the nut ,marina hotel ,rainbow ,and many more ,,,enjoy ,yiammas
