Hopefully they will be cheap at first but last year that didn't seem to happen?

Does anyone know what time they were released and did you have to do the usual faff of having to scroll forward until they appeared?

On martins money he talks about a sneaky way of bagging even cheaper flights by booking a Flexi fare with easyJet. As well as including baggage, speedy boarding etc they also are free to change the date and time for up to 3 weeks. So for instance if you booked two weeks before school hols you could theoretically change to the actual school hol dates for no extra cost. I think that's what it means haha

Thats an interesting one Jo..... you going to give it a go?
You would think they would have realised wouldn't you, Easyjet that is?

I bought our tickets just before 0700h when the flights appeared. Flexi tickets look appealing, but they didn't come up as an option from Bristol. Will be buying the return tickets next Wednesday.

Jo, total cost was £193. Two of us, two cases, 20k and 23k. That's around £30.00 cheaper than last year. Now just waiting to see about the return release next week!

Jo- The flights came on at 05.30am by doing the scrolling but were all through normally at 06.00am .
The flexi fares are only usually available about 3 months before departure ,and the prices of them have got higher, also normal prices will have increased by then, you have to wait 24 hours after purchase to change them and do check if flights are not then full.Think they have started pricing flexi tickets higher after Martin Lewis advertised the trick haha.

Cheaper for us to book a package with Thompson flying from Bristol than go with easyjet

Just booked last week June next year, Gatwick 6-00 flight with reserved extra legroom seats, extra baggage weight, £350 return for two of us.
Happy with that

That’s a great price. I am tied to the Summer hols as work in a school and also I couldn’t get my usual July dates so I was dreading the Aug prices but got 2 returns going out 6th Aug returning 20th with 2 cases all in for 390. Quite happy with that after the prices being ridiculous last year

£390 is good for August, well done.
Cos I'm tall and my wife suffers from fibromyalgia we prefare seats with more leg room so that whacks ours up an extra £58 over the two flights, so I could have got them for £292 if we had standard seats.
But happy overall

Wish I hadn't have looked now. Definitely some bargains. We have already booked with Ryan air from East Midlands which is better for us but if we had waited and booked with easy jet  from Manchester. then we could have saved about £200.

We would have been a bit cheaper with Easyjet from Manchester than with Ryanair from Brum but the extra taxi fare to Manchester would have been the difference and the flight times from Brum suit us better than the Manchester ones so I am happy !

Yes, we would have had extra petrol to Manchester but not £200 worth. I guess it comes down to preference as well and convenience.
