I know I've asked this before but which meal will be your first this year in Arillas and where?
At the moment its just Mick and I (First time without the boys!) and as usual will be the following:_
join me on a relaxed meander up to our favourite taverna Brouklis, on the way, a hug for Spiro Dida Telis, Katerina and Aris who will be busy serving their customers, a wave to Vas and Anita behind the Marina desk, an emotional hello to Yiota and of course Perry and Costa in the Coconut a hello to the Akti father and son, a nice long hug with gorgeous George at the jewellery shop and then a lovely welcome from Dimitris and if we are lucky Litsa. Well, I say lovely usually its "Oh no! Your here!"
Peppers stuffed with feta for starter (me) Cheese pies (Mick)
Divine juicy succulent superb lamb chops and veg/potatoes (me) Moussaka (Mick)
Obviously accompanied by some delicious chilled white wine and an ice cold beer for Mick. Cant wait!!!

I am going with Micks choices there Jo ! LOL
I hope you're keeping well .

We will arrive about lunchtime in June so it will probably be an gyros for lunch from Beachpoint. Evening will be at Gratsellas . Probably stuffed pepper to start and then stifado.
-
We arrive at lunchtime, so it will be a cold beer and a plate of sardines in the brouklis I think
-
Late arrival will be followed by bed
Bed will be followed by a belly busting
RAINBOW FULL ENGLISH.

Nothing like immersing yourself in that typical Corfiot dish John the Red 😂😂

Hi
We will definitely be patronising the Athina again.
Found it late in last years holiday so will be sure to visit more this year. Can still see the lamb on the spit and watching our meat being cut off.
All those lovely juices. Wont forget my Colman's of course.

His Winter service is just as good as his summer service.

We went not to long after it had opened, company of Eggy, Wendy, Val and Bill. they didn't have a full menu on so we just had what ever they had, Ive forgotten what it was but it was a lovely meal and the service was fantastic. Would certainly go again even if we didn't have the lovely company that night.

We used to go to the captains a lot, we loved the food there. Last time we went all the tablEs shook.... it was an earthquake out at sea
-
Captains has now changed and is called Athina.
The food is good and they make you so welcome.
Suckling Pig (licking my lips) is scrumptious as is the lamb on the spit, along with other dishes on the menu

I arrive on the afternoon and Heidi gets in the village in the evening and we will head to Armourada as always for our first dinner with lashings of vino. :)
This summer will be somewhat different food experience as I have gone pescaterian and all the meat is off the menu. ;)

Just returned from Cyprus....the food in the hotel we stay at is excellent, but this year my birthday fell when we were there. We sat down at our table and then the staff and guests all sang Happy Birthday and I was presented with a beautiful birthday cake complete with candles.
I cut it up and went round all the tables near us, it was a lovely evening and so unexpected.
