Title: Greek Dancing
Post by: Lawty on September 06, 2016, 11:56:38 AM
Went to Kaloudis - Splish Splash on Sunday evening for the Greek dancing. What a marvellous show it was, the performers were professional dancers and performed a variety of traditional dances. There was full audience participation from a really good crowd. The finale included fire and belly dancers !!  The food choice was limited but was perfectly cooked. Well worth a visit.

Totally agree Lawty

We also went to the Kaloudis Greek night during our stay in July (never been to one of theirs before) and yes it definitely was a brilliant night. The dancers were amazing!

The choice of food on the mains was perhaps a little limited ( pork or chicken with rice (both cooked to perfection and huge pieces) and a vegetarian dish) but the we were absolutely spoilt for choice on starters!
Everyone helped themselves to a fantastic variety of delicious Greek starters, -  fried aubergines, tzatziki, courgette balls, humous, olives and many  more Greek favourites!
The starter dishes were also used to accompany the main dishes....sooo much food and very well presented too, therefore I personally think the choice of main courses were enough due to the amount and variety of the starters (more like a huge meze)

Wonderful night with a wonderful atmosphere!

We went many years ago about 2001 on our first visit to Arillas and we also thoroughly enjoyed it. The night finished with everyone doing. The Zorba around the swimming pool.

Very similar this year Sonia and the finale was the actual Greek dancers jumping into the pool....It was a very hot and humid evening!
