can anyone tell me where the south beach starts for people without clothes ? jeffers
-
None of the beach is officially naturist. At the North it is traditionally after the obvious second rock outcrop, but tradition rather than boundary, or legal.
At the South you may see naturists at the very far end, and back from there in lessening numbers. But I have seen people almost under Graziella, which is unacceptable. Consideration for others has to be the rule.

There are now signs up on south beach saying no nudism so in my view, it is probably ok in any of the little bays past these signs.....this is what seems to have been happening the last few weeks.

Thank you for your replies. im in Arillas from the 30 th of August and would like to try a bit of skinny dipping. never tried before but dont want to do it in the wrong place.and get in trouble.
-
I would go right up North if I were you, people been going there for years, the south beach tended to start being used only a few years ago when it was impossible to get up to the north end and that was when all the problems started with what we call the nude police. Im sure you will enjoy your first time skinny dipping and carry on that way. Viv x

Thank you Vivian I will try the North end if i Can pluck up enough courage to do it . Having second thoughts now lol

How did you know they were Nude Police, Viv? Did they wear their badge where the fig leaf should be?
A new Branch of N.C.I.S , maybe? - No Clothes Is Suspicious!!

looked at the green mud vivian looks really good did you enjoy it ?
-
It's fantastic. You do feel a bit daft the first time especially if you are the only ones on the beach that seem to know about it at the time, get some very weird looks but don't worry about that as it's a great feeling. Ok I didn't look 20 yes younger when it was washed off, but my skin was definitely softer. Enjoy the green mud and get on with the skinny dipping don't think about it.

I want to try it but my wife wont do anything like that . So will have to try it alone but might feel out of place . Not long now Only 12 days Thank you Vivian for your information and thoughts
-
Jeffers, you and your wife could do it my way - I wear my bikini into the sea then swim far out and take it off! It is so worth it, you would not believe how great it feels and your cozzie is not heavy to hold in your hand. Put it back on in the sea then no one is any the wiser when you come out!
-
Cheryl. Thank you for that its sounds a good Idea but my wife is bit a good swimmer .I might give it ago tho jeffers
-
Thats cheating Cheryl :-)
-
I know, Terry but I'm just not brave enough to do it any other way!
Jeffers, your wife would not have to swim too far out, she would be able to duck under the water but still be shallow enough for her to stand up in, get her to try it, it's ace!
-
Cheryl do you go to the North beach or Just on the normal beach sounds like a good Idea tho jeffers
-
Hi All

Jeffers - I don't frequent the North Beach but that is where you need to go if you fancy skinny dipping as that is the unofficial Naturist part of the beach. The North Beach is the end of the beach where there is the path over the cliffs to San Stefanos. Like Phil says some naturists on very south of the beach but it seems that most go on the North Beach. Sometimes there is problems with the tide being in and you have to wade around to that part of the beach.
-
Hi Kevin we go out on the 30 th of August might see you if i pluck up the courage to do it jeffers
-
Jeffers just DO IT lol. It is ace. We are addicted now. The feeling of swimming as nature intended and the sun beating down on you is wonderful and that's all there is to it. We always go North beach and rule of thumb is keep on walking....and walking until the last rock juts out of the sea and then you will find Nirvana! (By the way I started just like Cheryl!)
-
Thanks Jo will try it would be much better if i was not doing it alone .who is Nivarna? Jeffers
-
Jeffers, I don't venture North, I walk down the South beach, carry on almost to the end, it's so pretty and peaceful. Sometimes there are rock/pebble art creations to admire too. I'm not breaking any rules, just quietly enjoying my swim!
-
Thanks Cheryl and everyone for your replies hopefully will make it to corfu if the Vulcano does not stop us roll on the 30 th August Jeffers

Reminds me of a couple of years ago when we took a walk up the south beach - just beach walking which we like and didn't want to go near north beach as we knew what happened up there! I didn't realise nudity was "acceptable" at south beach and as we were strolling along 2 nude bending over rear ends were pointing our way! Husband turned around rather sharply - I did point out he didn't have to join in if he didn't want to!
-
Love the story daisyday did it put your husband off walking along South beach? Jeffers 🐬
