Ha Ha...it knows more tricks than Tommy Cooper..trouble is most of them are beyond me.....spent all last week reading the instructions...to no avail ...left it on Auto...

How did you light that Marika? Couldn't have been just the Moon, surely? Gravia looks very dark but the beach looks like daylight. A beautiful picture...

Kes , don't know if you're camera settings set up is the same as mine but if you have a "Scene" setting put in on "starry sky" setting and then you should have a choice of shutter speeds....."15secs"  "30secs" and "90secs".
If you select one of these settings you can take night pictures (without flash) and with practice the results are pretty good ( ala Marika ).
I took some in the dark and they come out like it's in daylight.
